About Us
My upbringing on a picturesque southern Minnesota farm was filledwith the beauty of the fertile corn and soybean fields bursting with life after an abundant growing season. As the years passed by, the wonder of the farm and its fruits never left me. I grew up helping my mother create and make a lot of the wares we take for granted today, espousing the self reliance typical of farm families of the era. Upon leaving the farm for France where I studied the cultural history of Europe, I developed a broader appreciation for fine art and tasteful design. I returned to Minnesota after several years to settle down and start a family. Once my child reached school age I decided to combine the romance of the farm with the beauty of my cultural studies to start a candle making business. The natural clean-burning soy I use in my candles comes from many farms right here in the Midwest. The wine bottles I collect from local residences and businesses would otherwise end up as landfill. I thoroughly research the fragrances I use to ensure they provide an excellent scent throw and fill your home with a wondrous scent. Cheers! -To the reincarnated life of these fine vintages.
